About MagicRemover
What it is
MagicRemover is a free, browser-based AI photo cleanup tool. You paint over whatever you want gone — a person, an object, a watermark, a text overlay, a sticker — and the AI reconstructs the background behind it. No software to install, no account required for basic use.
How it works
Under the hood, MagicRemover uses a generative inpainting model served via Replicate. When you brush a region and tap Remove, the marked pixels are sent to the model alongside a text description of what to remove. The model regenerates the masked area from the surrounding context — sky, skin, pavement, foliage — and returns a redrawn image in roughly 15–30 seconds.
We do not store your original photos. Uploads are processed in-session and discarded. Result images are cached briefly to let you download them, then removed automatically.
Free tier
Guests get 3 free removes per rolling 24 hours per device. Signing in with Google raises the limit to 5 per day. New accounts receive a welcome credit bonus on first sign-in. Additional credits can be purchased for heavier use.
