Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using MagicRemover (magicremover.org), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses or uses the service.

2. The service

MagicRemover provides AI-powered image inpainting tools that allow you to remove objects, people, text, and watermarks from photos. The service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the quality of AI output or that any particular removal will succeed.

3. Acceptable use

You may use MagicRemover only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload images you do not have the right to use or modify
• Use the service to infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others
• Remove watermarks from images you have not licensed or do not own
• Upload images containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or other illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use automated scripts to circumvent rate limits
• Upload images of real people in a manner that violates their privacy or dignity

4. Watermark removal and copyright

MagicRemover is intended for use on images you own or have the right to edit. Removing a watermark from a stock photo, agency image, or any content you have not licensed may constitute copyright infringement and, in some jurisdictions, a separate violation of anti-circumvention law (e.g. 17 U.S.C. § 1202).

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright law and any licence terms attached to the images you upload. MagicRemover accepts no liability for unauthorised removal of copyright management information.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any images you upload. By uploading an image you grant MagicRemover a limited, temporary licence to process the image for the sole purpose of performing the removal you request. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details on how images are handled and deleted.

6. Free tier and credits

Guest users receive 3 free removes per rolling 24-hour period per device. Signed-in users receive 5 free removes per day plus any purchased credits. Credit purchases are final; refunds are issued only at our discretion in the event of a service error on our part.

7. Accounts

You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagicRemover and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to reputation. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, at our election.
