# MagicRemover policies — data retention, acceptable use and contact

## What is kept, and for how long

| Your source photo | Held only while it is processed, then discarded |
| Results, not signed in | Deleted automatically 24 hours after creation |
| Results, signed in | Kept in My Gallery until you ask for deletion or close your account |
| Uploaded videos and video results | Deleted by the processing provider after 7 days |
| Daily usage counters | Expire at the end of the UTC day |
| Account (name, email, profile picture from Google) and credit balance | Kept until you ask for deletion; credit transactions may be kept longer for financial records |

Sign-in is Google only. MagicRemover never sees your Google password, and card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by MagicRemover.

## Acceptable use

The Terms prohibit, among other things: uploading images you do not have the right to modify; removing a watermark from an image you have not licensed; removing or altering a trademark to misrepresent where a product comes from; fabricating evidence or deceiving people in harmful ways; violating the privacy or dignity of real people; and using scripts to get around the rate limits.
